This half term, Year 2 have been learning about sculptures. We have created pipe cleaner humans, clay sculptures and cardboard box monsters. We have been learning how to design and build our creations using a range of tools and skills.

For our DT project this half term, Year 2 have been making a patchwork quilt. We used a desert theme to inspire us with our designs. Year 2 visiting the Cenotaph

Today Year 2 visited the Cenotaph. We placed our poppy pebbles around the Cenotaph, had a two minute silence and had some quiet time to reflect on all the learning we have been doing about World War 1.
