This week, our classrooms have been buzzing with excitement as we celebrated British Science Week! From hands-on experiments to engaging activities, our students have been learning all about renewable energy, the importance of sustainability, and how science and geography work together to help protect our planet.
Year 5 & 6 tackled a thrilling renewable energy escape room, solving puzzles and discovering the power of green energy!
Year 2 became Greenhouse Gas Heroes, understanding how to reduce emissions and protect our environment.
Year 3 took a closer look at hydrogen-powered cars, exploring the future of eco-friendly transportation.
Year 1 & Reception dove into Net Zero, learning how we can all reduce our carbon footprints for a cleaner future.
Year 4 compared renewable energy vs. fossil fuels, understanding the importance of shifting to greener energy sources.
The children were incredibly engaged, diving into these hands-on activities with enthusiasm! These lessons not only link to science but also geography. They also help raise awareness of how we can work towards our school’s Live Simply
