Our Year 2 children had a fantastic day at Washington Wetlands, learning all about animals and their habitats.
They loved pond dipping and were excited to discover all sorts of creatures living in the water. During mini beast hunting, they carefully searched for insects and small animals, finding lots of interesting bugs along the way.
We watched the otters being fed and saw a wide variety of birds, including some amazing flamingos.
