Y6 Activity Week – Thursday

As with yesterday, our planned activities were cancelled due to the wind so we enjoyed some fun activities in school.

This morning, we had a go at some soft archery. It was tricky to hit the targets but we kept going until we were getting pretty good at aiming and firing.

We spent some time outside doing some scavenger hunting with our buddies. We were challenged to find something of every colour of the rainbow. We also had some races and helped our buddies with the sack race and egg and spoon race.

After lunch, we completed some challenges using the stacking cups. We did whole class challenges and worked in pairs to try to be the fastest stacker.

Finally, we enjoyed a silent disco in the hall.

A big thank you to Easington Schools Sports Partnership for letting us use their equipment at such short notice.
