St. Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School Seaham
Yesterday was Ash Wednesday and we had a visit from Fr. Marc and Deacon Peter. They blessed us with ashes on our forehead in the shape of a cross. The ashes have come from the burnt palms from last year’s Palm Sunday and are a sign of repentance. The cross symbolises the cross that Jesus died on to cleanse the world from its sins. We also thought about what we could do to prepare ourselves for Easter.
