School Sports Crew

Our School Sports Crew are Year 5 and 6 pupils who help out with sporting activities in school and also our roving reporters who bring you news about competitions, sports events and local clubs.

    Netball Success!

    On Tuesday we went to a netball competition in peterlee at Dene School.  We played Easington Colliery and Ribbon School who were all very good.  We played as a team really well and won with an overall score of 15 points.  We had to keep swapping positions so we could all have a game without anyone being left out.     Skipping School 2019

    Gail from skipping school came in as part of our active week this week. She worked with all classes and trained some of our KS2 children to be playground leaders. Our skills are absolutely amazing!

    Dance Showcase 2019

    Grinton Lodge 2019

    Day 1: It has been very nice weather today! We enjoyed lunch outside and played in the park. Once Stuart arrived, we headed down into Swaledale Valley to Reeth.     Dance Festival 2019

    Year 5/6 and 3/4 dance club performed at this years Dance Festival last week.  Year 5/6 were chosen to perform in this years Dance Showcase in May.

    A night at the Sport Awards

    Isaac and Sam enjoyed a night at the Sports Partnership Sport Awards. They even met a real Olympian, Chris Heap. Our school was awarded the Gold award for Leadership.

    Fun with Hoopstars

    Year 6 had great fun getting fit with hoopstars. We learnt lots of new cool tricks. If you see us on the yard, just ask us and we will show you!
