Year 6 – visit from Father Marc

Year 6 enjoyed a visit from Father Marc where they learnt all about the sacrament of ordination and Father Marc’s own personal experience. Year 6 used this to write the key events of an ordination service and made links throughout using the information Father Marc shared.

After learning about the origins of the traditional curry and food hygiene in DT, year 6 helped to prepare a vegetable korma. The children took responsibility to ensure all surfaces were cleaned before and after use and there was regular hand washing throughout- especially after cutting onions. A million children pray the Rosary Campaign

At the end of Mass on Monday our Year 6 Mini-Vinnies invited families and parishioners to join us on Tuesday 18th October to pray the Rosary for the ACN International – “A million children pray the Rosary” campaign where the focus of our prayers go towards peace and unity in the world.

Cross Country Success!
